Welcome to Westgate Caravan Park, situated in the Westgate area of Morecambe, within ten minutes walking distance of Morecambe promenade. Our 4 star standard park offers all facilities essential for our onsite private holiday home owners, or for the holiday maker wishing for an enjoyable break. We are open for private holiday home owner's from the 1st March until the 3rd of January. For those just wanting a short holiday we have 6 holiday caravans which are available to let on a weekly basis from Easter until October. We also have a hard standing area for 16 tourers sited adjacent toilet and shower facilities. Onsite facilities include a shop with off-licence, launderette, toilet and shower block, childrens play area and public phone. A friendly reception is open to assist you from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10.30am to 5pm on Sunday, closed for lunch 12.30 to 1.30. |

Morecambe is a delightful holiday resort well known for its beautiful scenic views. sea birds and sandy beaches. Many attractions are available, the lovely promenade and Stone Jetty, sailing and wind surfing on Morecambe Bay, sea and freshwater angling. Morecambe has various entertainments throughout the summer season at venues such as the Platform and The Dome. Also cinemas, Gala bingo and a bowling alley are among other attractions. Indoor swimming pools and keep fit centres are open to the public for the more energetic. For shoppers there is the Arndale shopping centre and 4 days a week the large covered Festival market. Adjacent to the market are Morrisons and the newly opened Next and Homebase, all situated with convenient links both to buses and rail transport. Happy Mount Park to the east end of the promenade is a delight with its gardens, paddling pool, trampolines tennis courts, snack bar, gift shop in fact something for everyone. The newly refurbished Midland Hotel by Urban Splash is a feature landmark on the promenade and well worth a visit. Further afield is the historic city of Lancaster with its Castle, Museums, Butterfly House and bustling shopping. A frequent bus service is available to Lancaster and Morecambe which stops outside the gates of the Caravan Park. |

Further afield is the magnificent Lake District, ideal for a full day out with Lake Windermere and the bustling town of Bowness, Grasmere with its wealth of poetic history, Consiton, Rydal Water, Buttermere, and many more all with their own particular beauty. The Yorkshire Dales with their wild and contrasting views can be reached in a similar time to the Lakes approximately one hour. |
